Six hens….Six sisters!
We have a passion for the hunt! Finding unique vintage treasures and incorporating “found” items into our homes and collections. Many a sister’s trip have been “planned” to meet up at “Junktiques”, “Largest Garage Sales”, or “Vintage Pop-up Markets.”
Upcycling, creating treasures, decorating our homes with vintage collections has been a thread, woven through all of our lives. As our family grows, our joy in creating has been nurtured in our children and will be so fun to see what they collect and create!

Based in beautiful Colorado, I have always had a passion for “finding” vintage items. For 16 years I supported a military husband through his exciting career! Everywhere we lived I was on the lookout for antique malls, thrift stores and pop-up markets from California to the Carolinas. My “collections” are all the things I love! Vintage tins and advertising, antique furniture, artwork (especially vintage oils), books, and whatever “speaks” to my soul in the moment!
When my husband retired we settled in Colorado permanently and it was time for me to follow my creative heart. Six Speckled Hens was hatched and my passion for upcycling “found” treasures into something unique and interesting has flourished.
The rest of the Coop…My sisters have been the biggest supporters and contributors of this adventure and I cannot wait to create, “find” and laugh with them on this journey!
